A lucky player on the central coast of America has scooped an $800,000 Mega Millions win but it appears that they don’t even know. The ticket, from last Tuesdays Mega Millions draw hit the second division prize of $800,000 but the player is still yet to come forward more than a week later.

The ticket was purchased in the Scotts Valley region of the area at the Old Bottle Shoppe, yet despite media attention and more than a week going by the player still hasn’t come forward to claim their huge win.

Staff at the shop have been checking the CCTV footage and can confirm that the ticket purchaser was a woman as she is shown coming in and buying the ticket, she also has blonde hair as shown by the CCTV but further than that there is no clue to who she is.
Players in the Mega Millions Lotto have a whole year in which to claim their prize so it may be that she is aware of her win and is just coming to terms with her good fortune, it may also be that she has not yet checked her winning numbers so lottery officials are urging everyone who bought a ticket for the draw from that region to check their numbers carefully.
